Apple may be working on a new 15-inch MacBook Air

Apple plans to release a 15-inch MacBook Air and a version of the entry-level iPad with a slightly larger screen in 2023, according to a report by Display Supply Chain Consultants. The report is only available to industry insiders, but DSCC analyst Ross Young shared some of the details with 9to5Mac.

Ross said Apple plans a version of the MacBook Air with a screen of about 15 inches, to be released in 2023. The company also wants to increase the screen of the current MacBook Air, from 13.3 inches, to something that is “a little bit bigger.” ”, but not above 14 inches. Previous rumors also point to the possibility of Apple releasing these new Macbooks with the color finishes of the current iMac.

In addition to the 15-inch MacBook Air, Apple would also be working on a larger entry-level iPad for next year. The current iPad has a 10.2-inch screen, and it’s the only model that hasn’t received a recent overhaul. Experts expect the tablet’s larger screen to feature thinner bezels and other design changes. Apple usually updates this model during the fall event in the northern hemisphere, so the product could be officially released in a year and a half.
